The Boys Season 4: Which character might die?

The Boys, the hit Amazon Prime Video series based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, is set to return for its fourth season in 2024. The show follows a group of vigilantes who fight against the corrupt and abusive superheroes, or supes, who are controlled by the powerful corporation Vought. The show is known for its dark humor, graphic violence, and shocking twists, and fans are eagerly awaiting to see what will happen next to their favorite characters.

One of the most intriguing questions that fans have is which character might die in the upcoming season. The show has already killed off several major characters, such as Translucent, Madelyn Stillwell, Becca Butcher, Stormfront, and Black Noir. The showrunner, Eric Kripke, has hinted that no one is safe on the show and that the stakes will be higher than ever in season 4.

So, which character might be the next to bite the dust?

Here are some of the possible candidates:

Homelander

Homelander
Homelander

The leader of the Seven, and the most powerful and feared super in the world, Homelander is also a sociopath who has no qualms about killing anyone who gets in his way. He is the main antagonist of the show, and the nemesis of Billy Butcher, the leader of the Boys. Homelander has a twisted relationship with his son, Ryan, who inherited his powers, and his former lover, Madelyn Stillwell, who was killed by him. He also has a rivalry with Soldier Boy, another supe who is based on Captain America, and who will be introduced in season 42 Homelander might meet his end at the hands of one of his enemies, or even his allies, who might betray him or try to overthrow him. He might also be killed by his son, who might rebel against him or try to protect someone from him.

Hughie

The protagonist of the show, and the audience surrogate, Hughie is a normal human who joined the Boys after his girlfriend, Robin, was killed by A-Train, a speedster supe. He is the moral compass of the group, and often questions the violent methods of Butcher. He also falls in love with Starlight, a super who is a member of the Seven, and who helps the Boys expose the truth about Vought and Compound V, a drug that gives people superpowers. Hughie might die as a result of his involvement with the Boys, or as a sacrifice to save someone else, such as Starlight or Butcher. He might also be killed by one of the supes, who might target him as a way to get to the Boys or Starlight.

Frenchie

One of the members of the Boys, and a former mercenary, Frenchie is an expert in weapons, explosives, and chemistry. He is also a compassionate and loyal friend, who cares deeply for his teammates, especially Kimiko, a mute supe who was rescued by the Boys from the terrorist group, the Shining Light Liberation Army. Frenchie has a tragic backstory, as he was forced to abandon his best friend, Lamplighter, a former supe who was a member of the Seven, during a mission that went wrong. He later reunited with Lamplighter, who sacrificed himself to help the Boys escape from a Vought facility. Frenchie might die as a result of his guilt over Lamplighter’s death, or as a way to protect Kimiko or the Boys. He might also be killed by one of the supes, who might see him as a threat or a nuisance.

Of course, these are just some of the possible scenarios, and the show might surprise us with a different outcome. The only way to find out is to watch the fourth season of The Boys, which will premiere on Prime Video in 2024. Until then, fans can enjoy the spin-off series, Gen V, which follows a group of young supes who attend a Vought-sponsored college
